Carolina Commercial Heat Treating, Inc. (CCHT) has offered outstanding service and quality to the Southeast since 1968 when we opened our first plant in South Carolina. We added plants in North Carolina, Tennessee, Alabama and Georgia to address the growing demand for heat treating from our customers. An added benefit to having plants spread throughout the South is the ability of each plant to act as a backup to the others. Our computer systems allow us to transfer your specifications along with our processes to each other on short notice. This standardization of equipment and processes between plants allows us to serve all of our customers from any CCHT plant.
CCHT has always been a market leader in innovation and technology. Our attention to quality and service propelled us to become the largest heat treater in the Southeast and the 5th largest in the country by 1996. Quality has always been the major focus for CCHT. We have degreed metallurgists and leading-edge lab facilities. We are registered to QS 9000:1998, ISO 9001:2000 and AS9100B. We are also approved to do work for Bell Helicopter, Gulfstream, Boeing and can certify to many other industry and military specifications.
CCHT currently operates well over 100 heat treating furnaces and continues to lead our industry in the purchase and implementation of the newest equipment and the latest technologies. Although all CCHT plants have the capability to handle almost any requirement you may have, each plant also focuses on certain processes required by their customers:
Fountain Inn, SC - high production nickel and copper brazing.
Reidsville, NCm - high volume nitriding and ferritic nitrocarburizing.
Morristown, TN - large volume carburize, quench and temper.
Conyers, GA - induction scanning, hardening and annealing.
Athens, AL - up to 10- bar vacuum processing.
Our IS 21 partnership program can provide you with our services within your own facility. We will install state-of-the-art equipment in your plant and staff and operate it with our own trained, experienced employees.
